Night Zookeeper – Year in Review

Happy New Year! πŸŽ‰ We’ve been working really hard all year and wanted to share all of the things we’ve been up to in 2019.

This year has been full of magic and great memories. It has been such a transformative year that rather than simply listing out all of our adventures, we are breaking with tradition, and have instead produced a beautiful infographic.

Please find our Year In Review below:

Of course, not everything could fit within the confines of a pretty graphic. We would also like to thank our friends at Colt, who have continued to provide free licenses for underprivileged UK schools and YouMeWe who introduced the magic of Night Zookeeper into refugee camps and Orphanages across the world.

A big thank you is also due to Sky, Edinburgh Zoo and Picturehouse Cinemas who ran amazing Night Zookeeper events with us this year.

We have loads of exciting new things planned for 2020 including thousands of new curriculum linked interactive challenges as well as more exciting community-based features for our young writers.

Stay tuned, 2020 is going to be a wonderful year!

Our New Look Animal Dens: All you need to know…

As you may have seen, we recently launched a new look for the Animal Dens (where each animal lives) in Night Zookeeper. This aims to make it simpler for your child to use and to give them more choice in the activities they do. However, we know that with any change, it can take a little getting used to so we’ve put this guide together to help anyone who is wondering how to use it. Don’t worry, all the same features are still there!

Earth Day Writing Prompts

Earth Day Writing Prompts

The Night Zoo is a very magical world indeed, but we want children to recognise the magic of the world they already live in. These Earth Day prompts were designed to try and do just that, by getting kids to engage with their imaginations and write creatively about nature, the Earth and the environment. Hopefully it will encourage them to think a little deeper about what the word β€œEarth” means to them, whilst developing the key skills they need to be a star writer.
